The follow up to my 2010 release "All But My Soul", "The Overhead Low" is a different animal all together. My wife and I welcomed our second child into the world during this process, so time and cost became a big factor. It only made sense to use my home studio for this one. Ultimately, the finished product is more polished and focused than my first. I am incredibly proud of this record, for a variety of reasons, but mostly because it was a big step up for me, both as a musician and producer. Whenever I hear it, I'm reminded of all the hard work that went into it, but I am always amazed by what one guy sitting at a computer can accomplish.
